Storytelling is the greatest instrument humans have. Stories connect us, create empathy, and help us discover universal truth. This thinking guides everything I do and create.

 

I grew up in an environment that discouraged creative storytelling as a career. Throughout high school, I was told to get a "real job" like accounting. That's exactly what I set out to do when I graduated high school in Houston in 2017. I enrolled at Texas A&M, pursuing Accounting & Finance. Two years later, I realized I would never be fulfilled on my current path. Something had to change.

I have to tell stories. It is what I want to do for the rest of my life. 

​

And so, I took a leap and began my journey at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2020. I major in Film & TV with an interest in Dramatic Writing. Since I've worked on dozens of student projects in various roles such as: Producer, Screenwriter, Director, Assistant Director, Assistant Camera, and BTS Photographer. 

​

Whenever an opportunity arose to create or help bring someone's story to life, I had to do it. I have to do it.
